Product Description:

Designed to perform on the stove or in the oven, this covered casserole features a large cooking surface to roast a chicken, slow cook a hearty beef stew or simmer a three-bean chili. The lid fits snugly to lock in moisture and flavors. Large handles make it easy to transfer dinner from the stovetop or oven to the table. Cast iron provides even heating and excellent heat retention. The enamel finish means you don't have to pre-season your cookware.

In a short time, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just-in-time have sold billions of books and made her one of the top personalities in food television.

Absolutely Love It!!!!
January 7, 2008
By Amelia, ME
I got this for Christmas and have made chili and beef stew in it so far. I LOVE it!! The food cooks wonderfully in it-- very even heating. It cleans very easy, too! Just make sure you wipe it as soon as you wash it. I made the mistake of letting it air dry on a towel and had the pot partially on the cover and it left a permanent rust stain on the cover! I was SO disappointed that I blemished my brand new pot! :( The only part that rusts is the rim of the pot and rim of the cover.

Avery good dutch oven without costing alot
February 26, 2008
By william, MA

I recently purchased the Rachel Ray 7 qt. dutch oven to replace my Le Creuset which I gave ( begrudgingly) to my son. I didn't want to spend the $225.00 or so for a replacement so I searched for something that was pretty much the same but cheaper. The dutch oven I purchased fulfilled that need. It's very sturdy and cost about one-third the price of Le Creuset. To my mind the difference doesn't justify the price.

beautiful

I am very pleased with this product and its price. I am a little concerned with the silicone (?) lid handle in the oven (haven't tried it yet). Also, you need to remember to dry the pot right away or it will rust where the lid and pot meet. Otherwise it is a beautiful blue and well worth the price!
