Product Description:
The Rachael Ray Young Cooks Cutting Set includes the Tadpole with Blade Guard and a reversible, cut-resistant glove. The Tadpole handle was developed so a young hand can grip over the top of the blade for greater control. The cut-resistant glove is polyester, woven with stainless steel thread to reduce the risk of cutting injuries.
In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities.

About Yum-o!®...
Launched in 2006 by Rachael Ray, Yum-o!® is a nonprofit organization that empowers kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking by teaching families to cook, feeding hungry kids and funding cooking education and scholarships.
Through our three core work areas of Cook, Feed and Fund, Yum-o! educates kids and their families about food and cooking by offering an interactive website that enables young cooks to get started in the kitchen and try out family-friendly recipies; teams up with partner organizations to feed hungry children; and funds innovative cooking programs in schools and educational opportunities for kids who are interested in pursuing careers in the restaurant and food service industry.

My kids love itMy kids who just turned 9 love their sets. The only thing we all agread on was the knives were not sharp enough. They were used to my knife so a quick sharpening and we were in business. I find it important to not have dull knives even with kids because they slip on what your cutting and that is how I've been cut myself. Other than that the handle and size knife are perfect for their smaller hands. The glove was a bit big so they have learned to keep their fingers curled under and safe knife handling!
Perfect for small hands, glove though its itchy (my daughter says) keeps kids hands well protected, my daughter says the knife is easy to use and sharp so food is easy to cut.
Tadpole set is the best!Honestly, I got this set for myself! I have very small hands and am always cutting myself. These are great! easy for me to use and I'm finaly safe in the kitchen!
