Product Description:
Furi knives have long been recognized for their outstanding performance and terrific value. The Gusto Grip collection was developed in conjunction with popular chef Rachael Ray, who loved the professional qualities of Füri, but desired a convenient non-slip grip in her favorite color, orange. The Gusto Grip handles feature "Furi Guard", antimicrobial inhibitors incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto Grip handles. This is done during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade the handle material over time. The result is a knife that appeals to home chefs and professionals alike. The Li'l Edgie Santoku Knife measures 5-in. long and is the perfect knife for vegetables and meats alike. The high-carbon, stainless blade is highly durable and offers precision cutting and lasting edge retention. For best results, Füri knives should be sharpened regularly, hand washed and dried thoroughly before storing.
Introduced in the U.S. by Matfer, Füri knives originated in Australia, designed by engineer Mark Henry in collaboration with professional chefs. Unique in construction and look, these knives are designed with the professional user in mind, and will be a lasting addition to any home kitchen. Füri knives are also beautiful enough to display on your countertop.
In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities.

I love using this knife. It's perfect for the smaller jobs such as cutting up vergetables and herbs. The only drawback that keeps me from giving it a five rating is that, as Cooking.com stated, the knife does need regular sharpening.

I had previously purchased another brand in a longer length and wanted one of the shorter blades. I watched Rachael Ray and thought I would try this one mostly because of the handle. The non-slip handle is great. I like the fact that the blade is curved, makes it easier to chop but I did not feel it was as sharp as it could have been for slicing. Overall though, I do like it.

This knife does everything you need to do in a kitchen. It cuts the fat from meat like a razor on a piece of paper. My wife loves her knife so much, she cooks just so she can use the knife. Rachel Ray puts out products for the everyday people with reasonable prices and spectacular quality. Thanks!
