1 Old style was better

Very disappointed in the new design. Hard to operate, actually forget trying to mix with the beater, just put the lid on and shake. Very disappointed. Also you can't put beater in dishwasher since batteries are attached. Bring back the old design

5 Salad dressing mixer
September 21, 2012
By Karen, FL
It is a bit much to have a salad dressing blender battery-run but it works fine. Would I have preferred it without batteries--Yes. However, it is difficult to find plain salad dressing ontainers to prepare tour own dressings. I DO like the fact it has salad dressing recipes printed on the bottle b/c I don't want to hv to keep up with the booklet w/recipes in it.

4 Handy little gadget
June 18, 2008

It was exactly as pictured, except for some reason I thought the carafe was made of glass. There I was thinking I'd have to be extra careful not to ever drop it, and .... what a relief, it's plastic!!
Thank you ever so much!
