4 NOT made in China...I hope so
December 9, 2013
By Barbara, IL
There are a few air bubbles in the glass, however they are deep in the glass and pose no breaking problem unless you put it in the oven, or do something else off label. The box said it's made in Taiwan, however the juicer itself has no country of origin stamped on it. It works for limes and other small citrus. I'm not so sure about larger fruit such as grapefruit.

4 Glass citrus juicers.
December 9, 2013
By Julia , IL
I prefer glass citrus juicers, because glass doesn't react with foods. This one is a bit small, compared to my other one, which I've had for years. Maybe they've shrunk them over the years to save money? I also noticed, after reading Made in China, a couple of air bubbles in the glass. That's not good. From what I understand, it means more easily broken. Whatever, it is nice to have a glass citrus juicer again, since my other once is hopefully, somewhere in storage.

5 Great juicer!
March 11, 2013
By Betsy, IL
This is definitely not for someone who wants to juice an abundance of fruit but it's perfect for a few lemons, limes or oranges! I don't know why people complained about it! I think it's great!

This is the old fashion best juicer there is.
if you need a little juice for a dish this one is it.
Not much to bring out or have to wash just have this juicer handy and anytime you need a little juice there you are.

I love it! No interaction between the glass and the lemon juice, and you can pour exactly the amount of juice you want.

Next time this item should be described as either a lemon/lime juicer or an orange juicer. It's just not large enough for it to be any good with oranges.

2 Very small juicer
April 26, 2011
By Ian, GA
I broke my old glass juicer and ordered this one. It arrived fairly quickly and when I opened the box I was surprised at how small it was. This juicer works fine for small lemons and limes but if you want to squeeze an orange or a grapefruit it will take some effort and make a mess. the bowl doesn't hold much juice and the cone in the middle is quite small. Mostly good for squeezing limes.

2 Citrus juicer
March 8, 2011
By Marcia, CT
I'm sure it's my fault for not ascertaning the size of the juicer, but it is way too small. The only think it can be used for is juicing limes. I guess I thought, for $8, it would be a normal siize juicer. Works great on small limes.

1 deception

Only a key lime could be juiced in this micro-juicer. Pretty sleazy if you ask me. So tiny I cant use it to squeeze and orange, let alone a grapefruit. I think both those are citrus. Nowhere did it advertise it was for juicing only the tiniest of citrus fruits. I just threw it out, because shipping it back cost more than its purchase price. Ill never shop at foodnetwork again

1 Not Impressed..
February 5, 2011
By David, FL
I returned it..it is not as advertised, much smaller, and totally not usable unless you are juicing key limes or something tiny. It is way too small for an orange, and grapefruits will just laugh at it. I ended up going to an antique store and finding an old vaseline glass version that is full size and nice. Don't waste your money on this product.

5 An oldie but a goodie!

I have looked high and low for a juicer like this one. I had one that was my mothers and in the process of moving, it was broken. I was excited to fine another one just like it. It is great for all types of citrus, unlike the smaller hand held types that only juice lemons and limes. Love it!

the glass citrus juicer is nice and heavy so that it does not tend to slip around while juicing fruits. It is a great size for lemons and limes, but could be a little larger (wider at the base.

It is solid and easy to sterilize in the dishwasher. This was a very hard to find item. I was pleased to find it at Cooking.com.

4 Great but too small for oranges
October 25, 2008
By Wayne, MD
The juicer works perfect and since I use it for lemons and limes, it is just what I want. I tried it with and orange once but the center section was not large enough to ream it properly.

5 Simple Juicer

Simple is better. Finally a product that doesn't require an operator's manual in 10 different languages! It even works when the power goes out.

Attractive and functional. Great for lemons and limes, and that was the reason I bought it. A bit small for oranges, but still works. Why are these hand juicers so hard to find? Thank you Cooking.com for having it so readily available and well priced.

3 Small but handy
August 22, 2007
By Darrien, WA
This has a very small cone so best used for lemons and limes. I was a bit disappointed, I had hoped to be able to use it for oranges as well. It does work on oranges but leaves a lot of juice so have to hand squeeze the remainder. But for lemons, limes and SMALL oranges it works great!
