Was pleasantly surprised. Great pictures and recipes. It has something for everyone...Kosher, Vegeterian, etc. Love it! However, it is very large and sometimes hard to keep open while following the recipe but you definately worth the price. Heidi
I love all of her cookbooks, this one too, I just wish she would include a color picture of each recipe. All of her cookbooks have very few pictures at all.
Not What I ExpectedRachel said there were more pictures than her other cook books, not true, I will make a recipe based on the picture and the ingredients and I want a cook book with lots of picture. You cook with your eyes, and smells, visual effects are very important.
For my son the cookMy son just loves Rachael Ray.......If I could have gotten the cook book signed it would have been the high light of his Christmas.
The cook book is wonderful.....Since my son works, goes to school and supports a family of 8, having adopted his sisters 2 children after her death, meals need to be easy, flavorful, and made in the shortest amt of time. The Big Orange Book does this...I enjoyed reading it before I wrapped it for X-mas.
Dealing with your company was easy, it came on time, and no excuses 3 weeks after the fact.

A Basic Rachael Ray BookI have another cookbook to add to my collection. I love them and read them. I have to say, I expected more from 'The Big Orange Book'. I can't say why. I loved her first few books. Perhaps one of our favorite cooks of the new century is running herself a little too thin and for that I am sorry. I still love my Rachael and hope she continues on in her great success!
Great book for the money
I guesss I was looking for a basic's kinda book. I will use this book one day but right now, I need to stay simple. But nevertheless, I will always be a "Rachael Ray" fan!

Convienent for diabetic modificationI have found the recipes in this book are very suitable for modification to a low/no sugar added recipe for diabetics. As long as the reader knows what the origional glucose laden ingredients are, the recipes in the BOB can be changed to a diabetic friendly publication.

Pass it onI purchased this book for my daughter, who shares it with her sister, and both share recipes from it with my daughters-in-law. I've used some of them myself.
