Your service was great but I am returning this product. It does not have any side holes and the food comes out of the top. Very unsatisfactory. I have owned one of these for years and wanted to replace it but this is not the product for me.

5 Potato Ricer, good for more than potatoes.
June 11, 2013
By Jeanie, GA
I wanted this for eggs, deviled eggs, egg salad and tuna or chicken salad. No chopping which can leave big chunks of egg which I don't like. This was not available in my area in retail stores. Glad to find it here.

In the time if takes to break out the blender/mixer and prep it for use I had completely processed 5#'s of boiled potatoes. It was too easy.

This ricer did a fine job for the price. I don't cook for a large crowd so the size was appropriate. It quickly riced the potatoes and clean up was very efficient. I would highly recommend it...

And, when making mashed potatoes or home made gnocchi, it was a lot of work and hard on the arms. This ricer works well and make it a little easier. Still work on the arms, but less painful!

It is just the right size for a family of two. I like the stainless steel because it is easy to clean. Makes really good mashed potatoes. Now even my husband likes to get the mash potatoes ready.

It works well but is not very practical as it is small and has to be refilled several times. In the process, you get residue of riced potatoes all over the place when you refill it.

This was the first potato ricer I ever used. Although it does take some hand strength to operate it, it does deliver nicely riced potatoes for whipping.

5 Great little ricer.

This is a dandy way to make mashed potatoes. The Grandkids are eager to help and find it fun to use. They also like the compliments for fixing creamy, smooth mashed potatoes. Easy to clean. Nice addition for the kitchen.

2 Difficult to use
December 15, 2008
By Renee, NY
I found this ricer VERY difficult to use. Small and very hard to press potatoes through- even with potatoes that were small in size and cooked well. I am looking for my paperwork so I can return it.

5 Great Gadget.

This is my first ricer, and it makes mashed potatoes and sweet potato pies faster, and more efficiently. It is very well made, easy to use, and cleans up in a snap.

4 FOR FLUFFY MASHED POTATOES
October 27, 2008
By kay, CO
I had something similar to this product years ago and loved it because it made the fluffiest mashed potatoes. This also makes great refried beans. It can be used with a variety of vegetables. For picky eaters, you can put carrots, yams, different squashes through and add them to mashed potatoes. It's a great gadget that you'll wonder how you ever cooked without it.
