5 As Advertised!
April 1, 2013
By Danny, WI
This grinder is great. It is much quieter than any coffee grinder I've had. It has enough power and it grinds uniformly! I am very pleased with this purchase. An added bonus was it arrived a week before scheduled. I should have bought it sooner!

5 Best I've found
March 13, 2012
By Carol, MN
We've been through the "grind and brew" coffee makers and went back to separate units. This model is by far the best we've found and while I don't think I would pay what is shown as retail, I'd definitely pay double over some other brands.

The unit grinds coffee perfectly, but it is super messy due to static electricity build up. The coffee literally flies out when you open the coffee drawer. Not only do you waste coffee, but you'll have constant cleanup after grinding.

4 Nice Upgrade From a Blade
February 15, 2010
By Charles, TX
For years I have used a blade grinder for my drip coffee. I received a press pot for Christmas and needed a better way to control my grind. This Infinity Conical Burr Grinder is a wonderful step up. Quieter than my old blade and does a good job of adjusting the size of the grind. It leaves a fair amount of residual in the grind chamber, but removing the upper hopper and top burr is effortless so it easy to clean and brush out with the supplied brush.

It is unusual that there is no on/off switch. Instead the timer serves as the power switch. There are times when there are no more beans in the hopper and the unit continues to grind until the timer "times out" and powers off. However you can twist the hopper beyond the course setting and it will power off or unplug it. But that appears to be a minor inconvenince at this time.

Otherwise, this grinder appears to be a good value for around $100. I would recommend it as a gift for someone or if you are upgrading from a blade grinder and are on a budget.

4 Worth the money
December 31, 2009
By Karen, VA
Looked at several burr grinders and this had the best reviews for the cost. It is quieter than the Cruisart one, but it does have alot of grind left in the chamber even after it is done grinding. Not a big problem just need to remember to clean it out after a couple of grinds.

4 good grinder for money
September 28, 2009
By Neal, PA
We had a Cuisinart grinder for 3 yrs but the last 6 mo or so, I was having to clean it every morn... thats the last thing you want, when you want and need fresh coffee. I like the Jura because of the conical burr that is replaceable (instead of purchasing an entire new grinder). Gives a nice even grind and does not burn the beans like the Cuisinart was doing toward the end when it would load up. Only complaint is the hopper for the grounds... better then the "ultra static-y" Cuisinart, but still it harbors some static. I would have loved the straight drop Kitchen Aid with the glass hopper but could not venture the extra hunderd plus dollars. Otherwise Jura provides GREAT value!

4 Pretty Good
July 28, 2009

My previous grinder was a Solis, a very substantial machine. But it did eventually quit. The Jura-Capresso is less expensive but also smaller and lighter. The arrangement of burrs, collar, hopper, etc., seem to be the same and the grind seems the same. So the telling factor will be how long it lasts. Over all, I'm content with it.

5 Great Product
July 16, 2009
By Len, FL
The Conical Burr Grinder is exactly as described and is a good value for a home (non-commercial use) product.
I had researched the whole subject of blade versus burr grinders, etc and it helped prompt me to by the conical burr type. However, despite all that I read about how burr grinding is better than blade "chopping" and that conical burr is the best of the two burr types, I was actuall amazed at the difference that this coffe grinder gave me in the taste of the coffee from my old blade "chopper".
Actullay it is astonishing.

5 so far so good
April 13, 2009
By Linda, OH
I love the burr coffee grinders but this is the third, and last one I got in just a few years. The other 2 just went bad hopefully this will last longer. The coffee comes out good. I've had to start drinking decaf but with the grinding it with this coffee grinder it tastes so much better. It's almost like regular coffee.

5 Black Infinity Conical Burr Coffee Grinder
April 6, 2009
By Charles, OH
This is the second burr grinder I have purchased and it is by far the best I have owned. The first was a Cuisinart which did a good job but was very loud and very messy with a lot of static build up in the ground coffee. This unit is very quiet and little or no static is created. The grind is very consistent. It takes very little cleaning to maintain the unit with the medium roast beans I use. I have owned the unit for six weeks, use it every day and have not had any problems. I don't see how a more expensive unit could give any better results.

The service from Cooking.com was fantastic. I placed my order even though they said it was out of stock and my take two weeks to ship. I received the order three days after placing the order. I will definitely will purchase from them again.

This grinder is quieter than I expected. It grinds evenly and adjusts easily. The only part I am thrilled about so far, is residue coffee spilling out after the compartment with ground coffee has been removed. No matter how much I shake it before removing the compartment, half a teaspoon falls out as soon as the compartment is removed. Otherwise, a great product

This Conical Burr Coffee Grinder is our first one of its type. We really like it! Especially from using either an antique manual grinder or electric blade-whirrling type. This burr grinder doesn't create static electricity in the ground beans. It's quiet, too. We found that running the grinder for a few extra seconds and giving it a few gentle taps works well in loosening and dislodging the remaining ground beans. There are some grounds that do remain and have to be brushed out. Compared to what we've had in the past, this model is so much nicer and easier to use.
