We've had the fryer for a few weeks now and just keep finding excuses and recipes to use it. It is a dream tool. We thought we'd need more than 375 max temp, but do not. French fries and tempuras are perfect. Buy it.

This is our first deep fryer and it's surprisingly easy. Not having much to compare it to, it was simple to set-up, follow directions and relatively easy to clean. Our friends have a different fryer and they could not believe how easy this was to use and clean. We've cooked a few different things so far and we're very happy with the performance.

I like the design of the fryer overall.It is easy to change the oil with the built in drain and the fact that the heating element and oil basket comes out easily for cleaning is a bonus,The one thing I don't like is that the lid doesn't fit down snugly over the fryer basket so some oil still escapes.Overall very good and would reccomend it.

This was purchased as a replacement for our original DeLonghi Deep Fryer. We like the new one so much better. The temperature goes higher as well as its really nice to have the handy oil drainer. It was such a pain and so messy to empty the original.
DeLonghi makes really great products. Our original deep fryer was still going strong after 5 years, but we wanted the updated version. I definitely recommend their products.

It is a good product. I wish they could fix the issue with the power cord. Because it does not work properly, you have to work with it to get it to stay attached so the fryer will work. Except for this inconvenience, it is a great product.

My husband and I love this deep fryer! So far we have made chicken wings twice. They are far better than the wing we could buy at 3 resturants in our town. We have also fried mushrooms, turned out great. The sleek design allows me to keep it on my counter. We would recommend this deep fryer to everyone.

We bought this for our son so he could cook his favorite Italian foods while we did ours for Christmas. Our fryer is 35 years old and heats up well, but has none of the great features of this fryer. It sets up easy, heats up fast, and keeps a constant heat, and is so easy to empty, because of the drain feature, and clean up is a breeze as everything comes apart.
Now we will be borrowing his fryer instead of the other way around The only draw back is the magnetic plug, it does come away from the fryer easily, but it is a safety feature we can live with and in no way would stop me from buying this fryer.

Made hot wings the first time I used the deep fryer.Wings fryed up nice and golden brown and in a timely manner. Cleaning the fryer afterwards was fairly easy. The drain spout was great for putting the oil back into the container.I like the way this fryer breaks down to clean.

This is the best fryer that I've had so far. I've tried the others only to have them fail (break) after minimal use. (The top chef endorsed ones). The top fits perfectly, if you put it on correctly. The manual cleanup is no big deal. And FYI, you never try to clean up with HOT OIL, you have to let it cool, no matter the model. True the instructions are not so clear, but fiddle with it a bit and everything is fine, to put it all together. I am very happy with this, I'll give it time to see how long it will last, the others only lasted 6 months!

I ordered this for our Christmas Eve celebration and it didn't disappoint. We used it to deep-fry several batches of seafood with good success. The temperature feature was handy for keeping the oil hot and we didn't experience any oil leakage. I would purchase this again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the DeLonghi Deep Fryer. We have loved making our own totilla chips, sweet potato fries and more. It also has some very efficient features like the draining part for the oil so you don't have to mess with pouring it and the cord that comes out easily so that it can't catch on anything and turn over the hot oil while cooking. We just love it!

When I needed a new deep fryer I considered several on Cooking.com until I settled on the DeLonghi. The electrical cord is like my old one...magnetic..which the old one worked great. The one on the DeLonghi will not stay connected...just a little touch and it falls off. I am sending it back to cooking.com and will make a purchase somewhere else.

Because of the drain on the fryer, I find that I can save money on the oil alone. With care when frying (not to have any water on what every I'm frying) the oil last much longer. I drain the oil after each use and strain it thru a large coffee filter. Then store the oil in an air tight container in my freezer. If I have fried something that's coated, and leaves a lot of chripies in the oil, straining takes care of thoes. I wish I'd had this back when my children was living at home. However, my grand children is loving me for the home made corndogs, chicken fried steaks, and donuts, to say the least.
We are very happy I made this great buy.

I think the way the unit is made ,the bottom of the french fryer will not start to scorch as other all in a one units do..It doesn't get as hot on the outside.
