5 Very easy
August 25, 2014
By Marianne, IL
Product arrived promptly. It is very easy to use and clean up. The temperature sensor light makes it easy to make golden Belgian waffles without opening the lid constantly to see if the waffle is done. Only takes a couple of minutes to make a waffle.

5 Excellent Waffle Maker

By angela, MI
This was hands down the best money I ever spent for a kitchen appliance. I ordered it here for way less than the stores here in town were selling it for. Would make a wonderful Wedding gift.

5 Best reasonably priced waffle iron
June 2, 2014
By Russell, FL
Our family prefers traditional waffles to belgian waffles. Unfortunately, most waffle irons are belgian. We've bought several that never made the waffles quite right. With the darkness setting on this one, you're guaranteed to a get a perfectly cooked waffle every time. It also browns evenly really well. The sliding setting for darkness feels a little cheap, but, other than that, this is a great product.

5 Just the right size.
April 10, 2014
By Paul, CA
Its physical size is great for storage, I like the wind-up cord and I like the fact that the waffles aren't too large. They cook faster, I don't waste the mixture and its easy to use.

4 Great for the price
April 9, 2014
By Joanne, MN
The slide is ---guess what number you are on. I find 4 ( if that is where it really is) is the best for crispy. I did freeze the extra waffles and heated them in the toaster. Worked great but will pre cook them less next time as the toaster browns them.

2 Not much quality
March 12, 2014
By Gary, DE
First of all the waffle iron is too light. You lift the lid and the whole thing raises up off the counter if you are not careful. The handle *(?) is made of plastic, it is easy to get burnt when lifting the lid to remove the waffle. The setting slide lever is a piece of plastic and it has about a quarter inch of play in it, so you really don't ever know what number you have it set on. I was wondering why the price was low and now I know. It seems Cuisinart is following most every other company and going for cheap made products and ignoring quality. Waffles are not that great as they come out mushy and even on the highest setting. I have to leave the waffle in there until you see a little smoke and it is done. That is how we used to tell when the waffle was done, before they came up with these progressive (?) tinker toys! If you want some quality skip this one. If you just want cheap, buy it.

3 Does an OK job
December 17, 2013
By mary, NY
The waffle iron is easy to use and the waffles come out consistently and reasonably well. I like having indicator lights that tell you when to start and when the waffle is done. However, the waffles don't come out as brown or crispy as I expected (even at the highest setting). The control for heat settings is very flimsy and a bit wobbly, and the knob feels that it might fall off its stem at any time. It operates as a slider, a bit like a dimmer switch, and doesn't click to confirm when a particular heat setting has been engaged.

It's hard to find a waffle iron that makes "flat" not Belgian waffles, so I was very pleased to see this item on the Betty Crocker website. It will be used often.

It is so hard to find a waffle maker that isn't a Belgian one. I wanted a waffle maker that had some adjustments and this one was exactly what I wanted. It works great.

5 Cuisinart Brand
September 7, 2013
By Jane, FL
I have been in the market for a single waffle iron. I was not interested in the Belgium waffle style. Traditional waffle makers are harder to find and usually pricey. I found the exact maker I wanted at a very appealing price. Have shopped at Paula Deen store before, always happy with my purchases and the extremely fast arrival of my merchandise. Love You Paula!!

3 batter wells are not deep

By Josephine, IL
this is a great waffle iron for the price. I know that belgen waffles are all the rage but I wanted a waffle that reminded me of my childhood. this one does it but just know they are to thin if you make them crisp. All in all I got the taste of home

5 Easy and Fun

Waffles couldn't be easier than this. I used a recipe out of the enclosed book and they were east, quick and delicious. My teen boys enjoyed trying one from every browning selection to find their favorite. Easy cleanup and storage too.
