It is a fantastic iron, multiple controls and extremely well designed, the top iron swivels and the waffles cook and release perfectly!

The WafflePro waffle iron makes tasty waffles (after some experimenting with the setting). I am impressed with how fast you can turn out waffles--as fast as they can be eaten! Great product, great fun.

The "heart" waffle iron is cute, but it is very small.

2 Unimpressive
May 15, 2011
By Carl, WI
After reading the reviws I expected MORE for a waffle iron at this price. There is little difference between the two cooking settings. With the brownness setting at the highest the waffle looks pale. I'm going to fish my $19.95 iron out of the garbage and return to crisp brown waffles.

4 Heart Waffle Maker a Great Gift
December 29, 2010
By Joan, PA
This was purchased as a gift for my daughter-in-law. She did not want a Belgian waffle maker. She loves the features that let you choose whether you want a crispy waffle or softer in the center.

4 A big improvement
November 11, 2010
By Mary, TX
This waffle iron is a big improvement over my old one. It heats up quickly, and continues to heat properly when making more than one waffle. I haven't tried all the options yet, but think for the price, it's a winner.

2 Too expensive, waffles too thin!
October 5, 2009
By Mike, CA
Don't bother with this - it does not compare to other heart-shaped waffle irons. The waffles are incredibly thin. Cleanup was easy, which is nice, but the waffles are not worth it.

5 Wonderful Product
August 24, 2008
By Paula, CA
I use this product several times a week and I'm very happy with it. I like to use the crisp exterior/moist interior setting. I have tried both settings (the other being uniform baking). They both do exactly as they are supposed to and the waffles are absolutely perfect every time! The timer is very accurate. Make sure to use only 1/2 cup of batter though because any more than that will definitely spill over. Also make sure the batter is not too thin. I have made several different kinds of waffles and none of them stick. I make sure the batter has enough fat in it to prevent sticking. I have also made blueberry waffles and waffles with raisins in them. Both times the waffles did not stick. The waffle grid is fairly easy to clean, but if you have enough fat in the batter, there is no cleanining necessary because nothing sticks to the grids.

This is a wonderful waffle maker and I highly recommend it.

5 Awesome waffle iron!
June 12, 2008
By Holly, CA
I have had several waffle irons and this one is by far the best. Once you get the 1/2 cup scoop down there is no mess while cooking. With other waffle irons there was always the oozing mess. I would definitely purchase this again if needed.

3 Five-of-Hearts WafflePro Waffle Iron by Chef'
March 4, 2008
By D Nathan, TX
We bought two of these to help make a lot of waffles for Valentine's day. Cute idea, but the waffle maker is small and makes a very thin waffle. Much thinner than our other waffle irons. It works great and shuts off at the perfect time.

For fans of the traditional thin waffle, this waffle iron is perfect! It makes a crisp, thin crust on the surface and waffles are soft inside. It will make any waffle recipe/mix taste amazing - we just switched from an old waffle iron and are now going to purchase this iron for all of our extended families (share the waffle love!).

3 Five of Hearts Wallfel Review
November 25, 2007
By Joseph, FL
I had an old waffle iron that was thirty years old. It made better waffles than this new waffel iron because the gridels were deeper. This new model has shallow gridles and makes thin waffles. I don't want a Belgium waffle iron because they are too thick, but would like some substance to my waffles. I am disappointed in the performance of this product.

4 I love it BUT it doesn't last
October 27, 2007
By Carol, IL
I really like this waffle iron, but this is the 3rd one I've had in about 12 years. My daughter is still using my mother's old, old one. I like the alarm tone and the fact that each waffle is exactly the same. It makes it really easy to cook for a bunch of my grandchildren and I wish I'd had it when raising my 5 children. I just wish it didn't burn out in such a short time. It gets exxpensive!

Once I get the thickness of my waffle recipe right, I think this waffle iron will be great! I've pretty much got the color and done-ness where I want them. I actually bought 2 irons, so I can make many waffles at once.

5 A fun way to eat waffles
September 26, 2007
By Linda, NY
This waffle iron works very well. Love that you can select the doneness of the inside of the waffle. And eating the heart shapes makes it lots of fun for young and old alike..
